The team has been hard at work with the competition only a few days away. Here’s a video from some of our circuit testing.
We’ve set up a YouTube channel where we plan to upload videos from our testing as well as any other relevant videos of the team and the robot. Watch for more videos to be uploaded once we get some time after the competition!

Information related to the 2011 International Autonomous Robot Racing Competition and Exhibition is now available on the competition website. The competition is hosted by the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. The date is still to be determined.

Engineering students from all departments voted at the McMaster Engineering Society’s Semi-Annual General Meeting in favour of MARRT being recognized as a team affiliated with the MES.
The team would like to thank the MES Executive for their help with putting forward the motion and all students voting in favour of it. We won’t let you down.

MARRT has applied to become an affiliated team with the McMaster Engineering Society. The motion will be put through at the MES’s Semi Annual General Meeting during the first week of November.

Full team meetings usually take place on Tuesday evenings somewhere in ITB. Meeting notices are sent out to the team mailing list with the location and time of the next meeting. Every one is welcome and no experience is necessary!

Dash and the McMaster University Autonomous Robot Race Team will be attending the McMaster Engineering Society EngFest event on September 14th, 2010. EngFest will take place in front of the John Hodgins Engineering building.
